Connect CallRail

Use the CallRail integration when CallRail is where your team stores call activity, recordings, attribution, and call history.

What you need

  • API key. Required. Use a key that can access the calls, recordings, and attribution you want to review.
  • Account ID. Optional. Add this when one API key can access more than one CallRail account.
  • Company ID. Optional. Add this when you want to limit the sync to one CallRail company.

Connect CallRail

  1. Open Integrations in Call Census.
  2. Select the account or location that should receive the CallRail calls.
  3. Choose CallRail.
  4. Paste the CallRail API key.
  5. Add the account ID or company ID if you need to narrow the sync.
  6. Click Test connection.
  7. When the test passes, run a sync and open the Calls page to confirm new calls are available.

If the connection fails

  • Confirm the API key is active and copied without extra spaces.
  • Check that the key has access to the CallRail account or company you entered.
  • If no recent calls appear, remove optional IDs first, then add them back once the connection is verified.
